BACKGROUND OF CASE STUDY
Our client needed to upgrade their existing fleet of scaffold trucks. This is due to the recent introduction of the Portsmouth Clean Air Zone (CAZ). Had they not upgraded their trucks, they would’ve been charged a daily penalty for driving in the zone. However, Scaffold Finance proposed the deal and within 24 hours it was approved. Once the signed agreement was returned by our client, funds had been released and their supplier was paid on the same day.
Scaffold Finance are therefore financing a further two trucks for them to help ensure that their fleet of vehicles are fully compliant with the Portsmouth Clean Air Zone. We also included a 2 month VAT deferral for our client. This meant that our client was able to pay the VAT in line with the end of their VAT quarter. The final balance financed was £30,394 and the monthly payments were £721.17.
